A hip hotel in a 28-storey building of glass and steel in Gothenburg

by Oliver Lind, Hotel Researcher
This Swedish hotel is a Nordic take on an upscale Las Vegas resort, with all of the luxury and allure but not a single slot machine in sight.

Jacyz is nestled inside the 100-meter-tall skyscraper that has become a new landmark in central Gothenburg.

The hotel interiors are dressed in muted tones, soft textiles, and art details. The exclusive JQ part of the property has 232 rooms and 1960s Las Vegas-inspired spaces in which impressive artwork meets sleek and eye-catching design materials.

The hotel has three restaurants specializing in American and Asian cuisines, as well as the Miami-inspired Pachanga Pool Club on the 28th floor, with fantastic views across the city.

There is also a spa on the top two floors, award-winning conference facilities, a gym, and a secret speakeasy bar.
